Aaaand post number 2

For those of you who don't know my hypothesis (which is probably no one since the only people reading this are Christie and Ryan to my knowledge), I would like to submit that there are very few attractive girls in Ohio. That or Ohio guys' standards are lower than those of MN guys. I've never gotten as many cat calls in my entire stay in MN as I have in the past two weeks here. It's getting on my nerves.

It's been in the 90's and sunny this weekend. Clearly a great time to go to the zoo. In the turtle section of the reptile house, there was a little boy less than 2 years old (no, not in a cage). He was looking at the nice turtles swimming around and the moves to the next tank. This is what the tank held: http://www.onlineathens.com/multimedia/galleries/060307srel/images/SREL02_dm.jpg . The turtle, not the guy. And the turtle was posed almost the same as it is in the picture, not moving at all. The little boy takes one look and bursts out crying. He will likely be scared of turtles for the rest of his life. I don't know why I found that so funny.

I would like to take the time to point out that strawberry poptarts are the best. Ever.

The Robinettes (who I'm staying with) have the most social cat ever. They weren't home Friday/Saturday so when I got back from work on Friday the cat followed me around and would not let me leave it. It also slept in my bed. I have cat hair all over.

K, I have no more random stories I can think of. Except that I get to go to Hawaii. I'm too excited for that. Three days :)

This was Ryan's idea - blame him.

I've tried blogging before. I've tried Twitter. Heck, I've tried updating my Facebook status. I cannot stay committed. This bodes well for my love life.

Bottom line is, I can't say I think this will work. But it does give me a chance to type out my awesome and idiotic moments in life. They are usually one in the same. I should have started this years ago.

Earlier this week I listened to the CIO of JPM talk about innovation and progressive thinking. He was directly referring to the iPad. Is it just me or does anyone else refuse to think that the name "iPad" could have been thought through? They clearly did not have any women on their naming committee. Yes, this is an outdated topic, but I feel that people need the reminder.

Enough about others, this is about me. Interesting fact: when a guy asks if you want to grab some food and see a movie or something, it is a date. Second interesting fact: you should not respond to said invitation by suggesting other people to invite as well. Useful suggestion: when he calls to apologize if that scenario was weird, try to pick up your jaw and respond politely.

There's nothing in Ohio. Who knew it would cause so much entertainment?
